Allergy advice & STORAGE
Made in kitchen handling all nuts, sesame and peanuts. STORAGE: Store in a cool and dry place. We do not use emulsifiers or preservatives-unnatural additives that extend shelf life and also inhibit the fat and cocoa from separating. So once opened, we recommend consuming them within 2 weeks of opening.

WHY DATE SWEETENED ?
We use ground dried organic dates to sweeten our dark chocolate because of their lower glycemic index compared to conventional sugar. This is typically between 42 and 55. The lower GI of ground dried dates is due to their natural fiber content, which ensures a more gradual sugar release compared to the more immediate impact of refined cane sugar, leading to a slower rise in blood glucose levels.
This makes them a healthier option for managing blood sugar levels, particularly for those looking to maintain steady energy levels, and avoid sugar spikes.
