Premium Ingredients with Your Health in Focus
This Adaptogenic Granola embodies Tulā Code’s longevity philosophy: food designed to help you enjoy, nourish, and thrive. By steering clear of inflammatory grains and refined seed oils, it supports brain health, balanced energy, and long-term metabolic resilience. Crafted from nutrient-dense nuts, seeds, and ancient millets, then elevated with a dark chocolate drizzle infused with He Shou Wu, Cordyceps, and black sesame, it merges indulgence with function.
BLACK SESAME SEEDS
Black sesame has been treasured across Asia for centuries as a food of strength and renewal. Rich in healthy fats, plant protein, and minerals like calcium, magnesium, and zinc, it is often associated with nourishing the hair, skin, and vital essence in traditional practices. In our granola, the addition of black sesame alongside a drizzle of dark chocolate not only deepens the flavour with a subtle nuttiness but also complements the adaptogens, creating a harmony of taste and function. Its grounding energy pairs beautifully with the vitality of Cordyceps and the restorative qualities of He Shou Wu, rounding out the blend as both indulgent and purposeful.
HE SHOU WU (Fo-Ti)
He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti) is a revered root in Traditional Chinese Medicine, valued for promoting vitality, longevity, and healthy ageing. In our granola, we use a concentrated 10:1 pure extract, meaning every serving delivers the equivalent of ten times the raw herb’s potency. Paired with Cordyceps — a powerful mushroom known to support cellular energy and endurance — the combination creates a synergistic effect: one rooted in restoration, the other in resilience. Together, they transform a nourishing granola into a functional ritual, weaving ancient wisdom seamlessly into everyday nourishment.
CORDYCEPS MILITARIS
Cordyceps militaris is a type of medicinal fungus that has garnered attention for its health-promoting properties, similar to its more renowned cousin, Cordyceps sinensis. Both species are used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and have been revered for centuries for their ability to enhance vitality and endurance. However, Cordyceps militaris is often more readily available and sustainable, as it can be cultivated commercially, unlike the wild-harvested Cordyceps sinensis which is rare and expensive.
Comparison to Cordyceps sinensis:
While both species contain beneficial bioactive compounds such as cordycepin, adenosine, and polysaccharides, Cordyceps militaris is particularly noted for having higher levels of cordycepin. Studies suggest that cordycepin has potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-aging properties. Cordyceps militaris also tends to be more consistent in quality due to controlled cultivation methods.
Benefits as per studies and TCM:
- Energy and Stamina: Both types of Cordyceps are famed in TCM for boosting energy and physical stamina. Modern research supports these uses, showing that they can increase ATP production, which is essential for energy.
- Immune Support: Cordyceps militaris has been studied for its effects on the immune system.
